Any pics of Red with BLACK stripes??

In celebration of the fact that my car will soon sport a Whipple, CDC Bumper delete and Heffner Exhaust etc -and to differentiate it - I am thinking of painting the white stipes BLACK (or maybe putting a vinyl on) and maybe power coating the wheels!

Does anyone have any pics or a photoshop of a Red car with Black stripes and black wheels?

Please don't paint and ruin the value of a perfectly good car. Vinyl is the way to go!
 
black stripes on red is the way to go. I haven't seen any GT's but I have
seen a few GT500's. Black wheels will put it over the top. You could even do the Whipple in a black anno to match.

These are the colors I am doing on our new GT500 if it ever gets here.
Except I am going to do a matte black anno on the wheels instead of
powder. It will look great but Still not a GT:frown
 
I'm personally not into black stripes unless they are matted finished over black paint.

Now gold stripes on red that's.:thumbsup:thumbsup

Thanks guys - yes I will go the vinyl route - and wheels will be powder coat.

Does anyone have lead on where to get some Black vinyl side stripes and lettering?? I guess the yellow cars came with it as standard? so is it a Ford part?
 
StormCat has some old posts on side vinyl, both stock stuff and fancy. Torrie can get you stock Ford stuff.
 
Silver and tungsten stripes on red look good also. Check out som GT500 pictures with those combos.

By the way, I have seen Red with Black stripes on the net somewhere. I'm pretty sure that one had a side stripe deletion. I think that it does look really cool, and am hereby subscribed for your pics when you get it done!!! I also second the opinion that you use vinyl tape.

Yes it looks great.

We just sold a 2010 GT%500 Red with Black stripes and it was very sweet looking.

That stripe on the GT is a classy look IMO>
