Unless current events force someone to fire sale their GT, you'll need to add a bit more to that $150K. Especially for a blue (due to fewer being made). :cheers

I fully understand and agree. I also paid much more for my white no stripe car, but considering that many cars seem to be stuck at dealerships at 155-165 (mostly red cars) and the current economic situation, I going to stick with this price level +/- for my second FGT. Gotta have some cash left to do all the modifications :)

I won't bet against you getting one considering the headlines.

well after two years of looking I found a yellow no stripe at a sane price. If I let 1161 go (blue with stripe 05) it would not be for less than 180,000.00.

Anders good luck on finding your second car. :thumbsup

His price is a possibilty with Red being one of his color choices (sorry red car owners). There has also been several good buys on white cars lately. Best of luck Anders. I will keep my eye open for you.... :eek

One for trips to the US and one for Denmark? :biggrin I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Good luck!!! :cheers

Yes, that would be great. No, this one is going the TT route - it is all Ray´s fault! :rofl

Not looking actively at the moment

Thanks for the many replies. Several very nice cars at good prices.

I have decided to put this "second FGT in the garage" project on hold for now, due to other car investments.

Good luck with the sale of your cars.

Best regards & :cheers

############ Thats yellow with no top stripe ? as I have only one of 3 all yellow no stripe (side or top) cars

I have been viewing this site for many months and also looking for a Ford GT in the $150,000.00 range. Not to particular on the color more concerned about miles, trying to be patient until I locate the right car for my collection. I notice that the two supporting dealers have a large inventory and I'm not opposed to purchasing from a dealer if I can pay the price I have budgeted.

Me too - Prices are all over the place - I see a few GT's on e bay that are no reserve starting at 140k or so (just not the colors I am looking for)

I am also seeing FG'ts coming down in price as the factory warrenty expires. I almost bought one over the weekend from the original owner who claimed to have a Ford extended service agreement but it turned out to be a extended warrenty on tires/wheels only - :bs

Still waiting patiently for the right car/deal.

:wink

Why would you let something like that keep you from buying the RIGHT car? Most of the cars are getting toward the end of the warranty if not long expired already. Just so I can say that I said it, WATCH.... when this economy straightens out I think the cars are gonna go up much more than you have seen thus far. Only cars I have seen come down are RED or WHITE cars. The others are holding strong and very low mileage cars are selling quicker than we can get them. Only reason I think we have seen red and white cars come down is there are more of them and there are a few sellers that the economy has hurt thus bringing them to fire sale their red or white GTs. Just my $.02

The most important thing to me is buying a no stories car, so many have been damaged and fixed off the books. One thing is for sure the inventory that B J and Elite personally sell are first class machines. Buy elsewhere, make sure you have a qualified person such as SHADOWMAN, THE GT GUYS, RICH ROEBECK do a PPI... or do you feel lucky?
