The GT3 I have been on the list for over a year, is not going to materialize. My dealer has offered a GT2 build slot. A lot more money, but a different car really. Any thoughts on a $200k GT2? Will it maintain value? Or plummet as soon as Porsche reveals something else? Reportedly no GT2s or GT3s for the forseeable future.

I own a 2002 GT2 that I bought brand new, it only has about 4000 miles on it and is like new, in the real world the car will probably bring about 1/2 its msrp which was 200k. I believe the only way to buy a Porsche is used, they depreciate about as bad as a rental Ford Taurus and in my opinion that makes them the best deal for a performance car you can buy. You can readily find TT's on ebay with low miles for half of msrp or less.

All Porsches loose money. If the carrera gt losses money the gt2 will too. As per previous post gt2's sold for at least 200k now how much are they worth?

CGT's dropped in value while new cars were still being built, they are now at or above MSRP, unless the car is in need of some major help.....

Accurate statement by Jamie. I helped a friend buy a 2002 GT2 a couple years ago for just a little over half the original sticker price. The GT2 is a hell of car for not much money, a performance bargain.
