Front License Plate Mount

Update on Front License Plate

Just a quick update on the front license plate group buy...
There was enough interest after the group buy purchase that the manufacturer decided to offer the part on his website. Price is a bit higher than the group buy, but still very reasonable.
And Larry of Mower and Axle is a great guy.

Now I keep the plate mount from Mower Deck Axle Co. handy to get the next fixit ticket signed off. There web site is www.moweraxle.com and it screws into the tow hook receptical. Not on the GT, yet since I just got it Xmas eve, but I have on other cars. I live in LA. I too would be intereted in the custom front bracket.

Just curious if any of you have noticed any wind noise or aerodynamic issues with your new front license plate mounts?
 
Sadly the weather here in Buffalo is not condusive to testing it yet.

None as of yet - but it isn't on the GT anyway.:biggrin

I purchased it for that enevitable day when the "No Front Plate" ticket takes place.

I can the take off the bra, put on the plate mount, put on the front plate, get the "fix-it" ticket signed off by one of those friendly Officers, take off the plate, take off the plate mount, put the bra back on, and then run around as usual in my beloved GT as it should be.:thumbsup
