and I quote:

"Long story short... N20 backfire took out the intake manifold and fuel rails at high speed. Friend thought the bottom end let loose... Didn't smell much at 150+mph. Rather than shut it down and have to stop with no brakes or power steering he coasted it to a stop. By the time it came to rest the open fuel and n2o lines had a huge blaze going. Took the FD 18mins to show up and put it out. The rest is history..."

Could have been saved with the Safecraft Fire Suppression System.

Best insurance policy available.

I have NO idea what the weather is like in Virginia, but the guy is claiming it happened this past weekend. Yep a Z06 :ack

Trust me. Unless these pics were photoshopped - it DIDN't happen a week ago! :rofl ("leafs" around here have been gone for at least a month ..and the trees [evergreens aside] have'nt had a speck of green on 'em for two!)

Anyway, the pics illustrate THEE big reason why I've never even been tempted to install 'ny-truss' on any of my cars. 'Just don't trust any part of it. ONE lil' leak/malfunction and bye-bye (or "buy-BUY") car. Noooooo thank'um you.

Spineless Pockets

You know.....

........Those photos kind of remind me of my first marrage.

Ay Pockets,

I too wonder if he replaced it, but I doubt insurance would pick up the tab because of the after market flammable performance add-on that malfunctioned and caused the crispiness. Ouch :ack

Jason
can't you do something?..........

I can make that rear fascia look like NEW! :wink
