    Help with an annoying noise

    I started hearing an annoying noise from the rear of the GT whenever I went over a small bump, during the Newport Beach rally. It took a while to figure it out, but putting a little grease on the clam shell latches solved the problem. A very simple fix if it works for you.

    Brian, The first step I did was to replace the relays, which did not fix the problem I was having. In my situation, it appears that the fuel pump was the culprit.

    No, the fuses and relays for the fuel pumps are located in the small fuse block located under the trunk liner under the front hood latch. There is another, larger fuse block located by the battery, but that is not where the fuel pump fuses and relays are located.

    Last year at SEMA, I talked with a BBS wheel representative and asked him what the paint codes were for the GT wheels.     New Squeak

    While at Rally II in LA, the GT developed a squeak/chirp coming from somewhere behind the drivers seat. It turned out to be a very simple fix; put a little lube on the clamshell latches and the squeak/chirp was instantly taken care of. Hope your issue is this simple to resolve!
