I dropped my car at South Bay Ford In Los Angeles and they quoted me $750 to do a oil change.. Does anymore know the true "book" time to complete a oil change by ford ? I was told they have to do extensive work to get to the filter and pump the lines - however I doubt this is over 8 hrs ?

Thanks for the warning of the elbows.. The actual cause of the ding was a book falling out of a cabinet in the garage.. Dumb move.. The cabinet was open a bit and work was being done on the opposite wall and this book found it's way out of the cabinet and hit the car.. It was painful to see..

I would love to attend this event - (from So Cal.) any suggestions on shipping the car there? I cant be showing up in a rental and 10 hours is a bit tough on me when I own a Cirrus (airplane) and can do this trip in 3 hours. Any suggestions on shipping the car to and from. ?
