Thanks Richard, so if I am approved, I am OK up to 190 (which my car will not do) with fire suit, helmet & standard oem seat belts (I do not want to modify my car)

If you are doing all/most of the driving, it would seem you could gain quite a bit by removing the seat slider and bolting the seat solid. I was thinking of trying it on mine, (I'm 6-4).

After removing the other 2 screws, they are loose, but just don't seem to want to come out (and I don't want to break or bend anything). Seems they are attached to some screening inside? Do I pull harder? ps....service manual sure is useless

I'm also replacing my side window vents. I'm attempting to remove the metal plates for access to the hidden screw. Do I have to remove the 2 screws that don't appear to be holding the plate? I have the other screws removed, but the metal plate does not want to come off. thanks.....Larry

I just changed my engine & transaxle oil this weekend. I drove the rear wheels onto 4x6's, then jacked up the rear of the car and put wood blocks under the rear wheels (12-14"??), then threw down a piece of old carpet. Like others, probably spent 4-5 hours, used power screwdriver and 1/4"...

Do OEM replacement vents require painting? thanks.....Larry
