    1978 Ferrari GTS

I have a carbureted 308 with 25,000 miles that I have owned for over 30 years. it was originally Silver but the second owner had it painted red. The paint is very good, I had the interior redone by a restoration shop about 20 years ago. The car just sits in my garage and I start it and run it...

    2005 White with Blue Stripes

Vintage racing I restored a 1964 Elva MK7S and have been working hard to get the car to handle. Every race I am making suspension adjustments and I am seeing progress. Plus I need seat time as these old sport racers can bite you quickly. The car is made from a small diameter tube chassis...

    2005 White with Blue Stripes

These cars are terrific and I enjoyed owning and driving this race car for the road. Hell, I loved just looking at it. I decided that I love driving actual racecars on the track and wheel to wheel racing, just a little bit better so the car sold. I have more room in the garage, money to buy more...

Lime Rock Test and Tune Day

Love that sound! Looks like the car doesn't like coming out of Big Bend. Was there fluid on the track? If not, I would ask the race prep shop to watch the video, might need some suspension adjustments.

    Custom Motorcycle

Thanks, that is interesting. I never did dyno the bike, but it pulls hard from a stop as the bike is light. I also have a bike that was a special build commemorating Harleys 100th anniversary and S&S 45th anniversary. The two companies contracted with 4 well known custom bike builders to design...

    Custom Motorcycle

There is front suspension. The top part of the forks is one piece aluminum and the down tubes have springs and the lower part of the fork rides up into the one piece fork. The rear has an air suspension. The front forks are from Goldammer in Canada. I then powder coated them black.

    Custom Motorcycle

I had a custom motorcycle built in 2003 and I just don't ride it anymore. It is the coolest bike to ride and stands out from any other bike when you stop at a bar or go to a bike show. I took it to Bike Week in 2004 and even though there were about 100,000 bikes on the road and radical bikes at...

    My Vintage Race Car

Some Vintage Clubs in the States require the Dunlops, but right now they are hard to get as Dunlop is having troubles. I am currently running Avons. Right now I am learning to drive the car and also learning about suspension set up (don't have it fully dialed in yet) but the little bugger is...

    Racing Simulator recommendations?

I bought the Logitech G27 and a race seat with pedal platform and it is great fun. I use it to drive tracks that I have not visited yet, but will race in vintage racing clubs. Like LimeRock. Watkins Glen, etc. Drive the track and get to know the layout so when you show up for the weekend races...

Does anyone own a Chevron B8?

You're right, they have doubled in price in the last 3-4 years. You can buy B19s for less money. I guess I would need to wait for an economic downturn in Europe because most of these cars seem to be overseas.

    Finished Restoring an Elva MK7S

Yes we corner weighted it before and then after suspension adjustments. The car has a 70/30 weight distribution that makes for interesting hard corners. Most of the turns on the road courses that we run are right hand turns. NJMP, Lime Rock, Beaver Run and even VIR. I'm finding that the car...

    Finished Restoring an Elva MK7S

I finally finished restoring a 1964 Elva MK7S sport racer, it took almost a year. There aren't any shop manuals or exact specifications for the frame and suspension to follow, so at times I looked at old photos and books either about the Elva or period racing. The car weighs 1100 lbs and is...
