OK. I now have part of the problem. I have a Odesseey 25 -pc1400 battery that is 10 years old. The dealer never said that that is a problem and probably never did a load test on the battery. I am ordering a new one as we speak. That may be the whole problem and thanks to this forum maybe saved...

OK so I removed the Mafia MAF sensor and returned the tune to stock and cleared the codes. Drove the car for over 100 miles over several days. idle, drove at 40mph , drove at 55 and 65 mph , slowed to 40 from 65 mph without clutch engaged etc. Tried to clear the P1000 code and it still comes up...

I put back the tune and noticed that the 171 and 174 were gone. I cleared the 1000 code and start from scratch with driving the car. What does the p1000 code indicate if it comes back?

I had the pulley, tune, throttle body, by Muscle Motors in LA area. THey are the ones that said to remove the tune. Maybe you are right that it is running lean after removing the tune angetting to 110 outside temp. I guess I try reinstalling the tune and drive the car.

Thanks. I'll maybe siphon off some of the excess so that I dont worry about what the dealer says is OK until there is a problem. I live in a very hot environment and dont want any problems.

Actually I only wanted to know if it was bad for the engine to have it 1 inch obove the max level. I can siphon the excess out it would be better for the engine. I dont want to worry if it is OK.

I just got back from the dealer and he said no problem with overfilling the oil since it is a dry sump system and there is no harm if left overfilled. Any comments would be appreciated.

I think the GTR on the comfort mode is very acceptable. On the normal mode slightly harsher, and on the Race mode very firm like you would want it to be while racing. I ususally leave it in the comfort mode most of the time and never think about it again. My son's WRX STI is very harsh amd bumpy...
