Does the BOOST GUAGE need calibrated after replacement?

Ok. I'll try it tomorrow if the weather is decent. I was thinking at idle it would normally read zero boost. Pretty sad, I haven't driven the car in so many months I can't remember how the gauge behaved.....:frown

Does the BOOST GUAGE need calibrated after replacement?

Back to the drawing board. This time I used my one and only NEW boost gauge! The new gauge is showing the same neg 20 mmHg boost at idle as the used one I tried. It also moves to zero at ignition but drops to 20 once started. Hit the gas and up to zero or a little above....then back to 20. Could...

Does the BOOST GUAGE need calibrated after replacement?

I was afraid that would be the case. I had bought a couple of instrument arrays from wrecked GT's for extra parts. I suppose I'll just use them as paper weights. :ack

Does the BOOST GUAGE need calibrated after replacement?

Does the BOOST GAUGE need calibrated after replacement? My boost gauge died last fall. I found a couple of used ones. I finally got some time to replace it. The first replacement gauge did not work either so I got to pull the dash array again and try the other used one. This one works but I...

Crash safety, no substitute for SIZE! Buying a Smart car may be dumb!

OK, now it's poor mileage as well ! I'd rather be in the NASA crawler in a collision than bla, bla, bla !!

Well if the thread is going that direction....I'd rather be in a Hummer H-1 than in an F150 during a collision!! :biggrin

Crash safety, no substitute for SIZE! Buying a Smart car may be dumb!

True, micros are riskier in collisions than the bigger vehicles but I'd rather be in a head-on in a Smartcar than on a motorcycle. Two airbags are better than none!....yet I continue to drive both. I've seen a Smartcar that hit a deer....no injury to the driver. I've known of several motorcycle...

Has any Pantera owners out there tried fitting a set of Ford GT seats? I've been measuring and it appears that they may fit, especially with the drop floor pans.

    ACS Composite Wiper Delete Hood

I bought one from this guy a few months ago. It isn't the wiper delete, just a replacement hood. They even engrave their serial number in the same place as the original I noticed. Thanks for the additional info/history ! Very interesting !! :thumbsup
