I am going to purchase a portable type XM unit with the radio kit. Has anyone already done this in a GT? If so where there any unusual problems found during the install? I also will be installing a LoJack at the request of my insurance company. Hoping there aren't conflicts between to two.

LoJack

Just had a Lojack unit installed today, they are also installing the Escort radar detection with lazer jamming. Should be done in a couple of days.
I will let you know how it works out.

Sirius

I just installed a Sirius Starmate. I did not want to replace the Mac radio so this seemed the best option. I used velcro to attach it just in front of the radio with a small piece of 90 degree aluminum so I could view the display. The antennea cable was tucked between the dash and windshield seal. So far I am using the power point 12v for power but will change it when I get time. Works great.

Did you connect it through the AUX jack on the back of the radio?

Sirius

I didn't use the aux port. I might try it later, though. The Sirius unit modulates with the FM radio on stations 88.1-88.9. I use FM3 to pre program these stations. The down side of this is if you live in a large community these stations might have programming on them. I live in a small community so this is not a problem.
