X-Plan?

Now that many GT's, especially 05's, are going at or just below MSRP all over the country has anyone probed possible X-Plan pricing from any dealer? On an MSRP deal the dealer is kept whole by Ford with X-Plan, thus no reason for him not to sell at that price to qualified parties who can use the X-Plan.

It's a discount plan for Ford MC service providers and suppliers. I work for one and have used the plan in the past. It saves a few thousand, normally. Yet, on some cars you're better doing your own nego's and may come out even better. I suspect, on the GT, it could be a better route, but some cars are not covered by the plan at various times. I've found conflicting info as to whether the GT is in or out right now. Anyway, I've approached my closest dealer with the X-Plan question and they are considering it.
Others also seem correct....good and fair deals are popping up all over the country.
I watch, I wait and I plan. Meanwhile, I envy all of you current GT owners. Enjoy!
