Looking for one to match the rest of my car. Specifically the lower drivers arm.

Anyone have one? I realize this is near impossible.

Any chance Ford could help you out on this?

Did you determine swapping the ball joint out is impossible?

Not sure how?

I'm not even sure where to start.

You're going to have to have them made. Do you want me to look into have some manufactured?

Agree with Fubar. Find a machine shop that has a reverse engineering table and have them made. Not cheap, but not frustrating either.

You need a guy with a 5 axis CNC machine. I would have him do it with replaceable ball joints. I would also have him talk to alex about the testing expectations that went into the factory units. I have talked with my guy about it but haven' had a need for the product yet. I will buy a set if they meet my requirements.

Jason - contact Roush, they made all the replacement A-Arms.

Give Rich Brooks a call. He would know whom to talk to about this.

(I saw one in the display cabinet at SVT. But I doubt Jamal would part with it.)

Jason, have you looked around for a salvage piece? I know X2 Collision on Ebay deals with a lot of GT's. I hope this is an isolated incident. I know your car doesn't have a lot of miles, but there are lots of cars with more miles and no reported problems? Trying to find a salvage piece might be a good place to start. Good luck friend!

I think the problem with replacement ball joints from what I have discussed with some of the people on the design team is the specific amount of weight that is put on the A-Arm. Maybe Rich or Alex can pop in and comment but there is more weight from the car directly put on the A-Arm and thus the ball joints couldn't be done as replacements and had to be pressed in.
