whats the GT's coefficient of drag rating?

Comparing the viper to the GT it appears that the GT has a similiar width but a pointy nose, a more steeply raked windshield and a much lower overall height. I don't know about the formulas you guys are using but the frontal area for an SRT-10 is 19.3 sq. ft. (.40 Cd with the top up). Just going by appearances the GT must have less frontal area than that.

I would have thought it would be lower, too. Maybe someone here knows?

June issue of Motor Trend has big article about viper, corvette, GT, etc and they list the drag coefficient of the GT as .39, same as 06 viper coupe

The 1998 Lexus had a c/D of .29. This was the benchmark used by Chevrolet in designing the C5 Vette.

Most of the imporvement came from the belly pan design.

So aero shapes are nice but look underneath theses days to lower the c/D.
