Is anyone aware of a service bulletin with regard to the engine stalling problem? I have my car into the dealer and they say they tested for a leak in the fuel filler pipe and found none. They say they are talking with Ford but have not come up with anything. At this point they are recommending against fixing the filler pipe in that they are not sure it will solve the problem. I'm hoping that I can refer the dealer to some additional information.
Also, they are telling me that my rear main is leaking requiring, as we know quite an invasive repair. While they have a service bulletin for this, they are telling me that the replacement bushing is not a re-engineered part and that there is a chance the leak will continue even after the replacement. Has anyone else had this repair and did it fix the leak?
