Missing the bottom nut and bolt need to get a few. Not sure how these go in either can't see a way from the outside.

Top vents? The "bolt" is plastic I think, and molded to the vent. They break off with no provocation.
There is no stress on them, so missing a few doesn't matter.

I went through two sets due to warping and the bolts braking then FINALLY, Pe2unia came up with Billet replacements. Bought and installed a set and never have to worry about them again. They billet vents will pay themselves after one or two sets of replacements, and they never warp!

I have the top and side vents from Pe2unia and they look great. He is very responsive and helpful.

They are metal threaded studs with a small Allen socket head in the end so you can back them out or keep it from turning as you tighten the retaining nuts. They thread into the plastic vents. If you want to save the vents and keep this from being a long term issues remove both vents and epoxy in the studs. The plastic mounting tits have a tenancy to crack. If you can't get the studs from Torrie you can make some from some all thread rod or cut some bolts they are probably 3mm or 4 mm. I fixed mine about 7 years ago.. They don't need to be very tight. Use a socket and tighten finger tight.

I thought the bolts were moulded plastic too but I was wrong. I have two new sets of these in my parts collection so I opened one up and there is a metal stud that screws into the plastic vent exactly as Stormcat described it. There are 6 studs on each vent. The metal studs don't break but several of the moulded plastic threaded sleeves that the tiny studs screw into broke off on my GT and the plastic vents were warped from heat as well. I also have the billet replacements and I think they are the only permanent solution. Cheers.
