Along with a bunch of 12Cs and 650Ss, we had Ferraris, Lambos, AMs, and even an i8 for some "spirited" driving on FL back roads.

As usual, the GT was a big hit, but for more than the usual reasons. Apparently, all those behind me were hugely entertained by my flame throwing exhibition on high rpm throttle close. I hope somebody got it on video!

And IMO, and in the opinion of many in our group today.

It was pretty cool to follow the McLarens. I was mesmerized by the movement of the rear spoiler. They are very active at speed and amazingly fast acting.

It's always one of many awareness factors, but really the risk is far far greater from dusk til dawn than during the day. Except for deer. They will eff you up any time of day or night.

But that is what is nice about traveling in a pack. Stay in the middle. The guys in front hit the animals. On the highway, the guys in front and back reflect the radar. There is safety (relative) in numbers if you are positioned well.

That 458 is gorgeous. Rare color combo. Well, maybe not rare, but the first time I've seen it. Sounds great too.
