Does any one make a bigger MAF for the gt.
 
also does any one make a bigger throttle body for it. i need more cfm
 
Accufab has been working on a prototype, check out their website and give them a call. Usually their products are more expensive then their competitors, but they actually have the cfm number improvement for their products. The owner (john Mihovitch) has been racing fords for over 10 years and gets over 1500 hp from a 4.6 ford cobra engine. www.accufabracing.com

SCT products has a maf they call the BIG AIR MAF METER that can support over 700hp. WWW.sctflash.com They are primarily known for the tuning products
 
I already called accufab. They dont have anything for the gt.
 
nothing from sct either.
 
I talked to jack at muscle motors and he said the maf on the gt is built into and part of the airbox. so aftermarket mafs wont work. your tuner can recalibrate his tables in the tuning program to see the voltage in a different way if the current maf is pegged
 
already at the last table.

whipple is coming out with a billet maf next month $600, I will be good to go. Getting it along with the new 3.3 supercharger.
 
I thought you were the one who asked if anybody knew about a new maf?
 
I did, but I went and did the research on my own. Found it faster that way. Just thougt someone would respond faster then I could find out.
 
great, thanks for the good research and good info. did whipple say anything about when the 3.3 will be available. some guy in florida says he is getting one tomorrow, and i wonder if there are any performance numbers
 
since i am exceeding 720 hp at wheel i maxed out the math..

and yes the MAFia works

i use it..

i will get you brand that i use..

it is the same from ford mustang 05 mods

Great hp numbers, keep up the good work.
 
Just an idea, what about removing the intercooler from the intake and using chemical intercooling like water/meth,or a small shot of nitrous that is used only when temps reach a certain number or at wot. I would guess with a reduction of the backpressure caused by the intercooler restriction that a hp increase of at least 25 hp and probably more.
 
I talked to whipple yesterday. It will be 2 weeks before the 3.3 is out. And as least that long for the new mass air.
