Location of HVAC Components

My car is struggling to keep up with hot weather, which was not the case when I bought it 5 years ago. I'm thinking of taking it to a general mechanic as I'm confident it just needs more freon and it should be a regular Ford setup. Where are the connection points to add freon? My workshop manual wasn't helpful.
