The London Mile was done this weekend at London City Airport.

1st was M/B McLaren SLR 175.7 m.p.h.
2nd was the Ford GT -174 m.p.h.
3rd was z/06 Corvette -167 m.p.h.

Bragging rights and a note in the Guiness Book under London Land Speed Record. Now you see what an extra $300k gets you.

That's quite an achievement! I don't even own a Ford GT but I still feel proud that its an American supercar and that it's such a great automobile. Plus, it's a bargain!
