Roadworks is now selling the Lloyds mats with an authorized GT logo.

They say you can have GT, Ford Gt, and / or your VIN on the mats. They will also do the logo stuff in color.

Just ordered a set with the logo in color. Am real happy with the plain set I have, so have high hopes for these.

I also order a pair last Friday.
Black carpet, black piping, powder blue stitching "FORD GT" w/ vin# below.
Hoping the light blue goes well w/ the Heritage blue.

David

I placed an order last week for LLoyd mats with no logo as Roadworks' website did not list Ford as an authorized licensee. After seeing this thread last night, I called and was able to catch my order and changed it to include a simple Ford oval logo, about 4", blue with white lettering on black mats. A bit understated but I think it will complement the car and its interior. I'll post pics after I get them. BTW, the folks at Roadworks couldn't have been more friendly and accomodating. Suggest you deal with them as LLoyd mat prices are pretty much the same at all outlets. Fred

Post Da pix when the UPS truck arrives...:cheers

Hate to hijack the post; but at $200 for set of OEM Ford Rubber mats, not sure why everyone doesn't go that route, as the the carpet mats are to protect the rubber mats.

Guess same reason some like carpeting in bedroom and others like wood.

Are you talking about buying a spare set of factory mats to use as replacements when the originals wear out? Not a bad idea but I'dlike to protect the originals too.

Yes, I just feel for $79 your half-way to buying replacements. But then again you have to put that extarOEM set in storage (attic, garage, etc) where they might age and turn brown or grey over time!)

The Lloyds protect the original since they are under the carpet. The carpet definitely adds a level of comfort, especialy if you are a bare foot driver (I do frequently).

I got my mats today. These are the new Lloyds with the embroidered Ford GT and VIN.

First impressions are that the embroidered stuff is nicely done. They do this on the lighter weight mats. The lighter are OK, but I must say I do prefer the heavier - if someone is ordering without the logo stuff, go heavier.

I am having a little after thought about the light color for the logo (yellow for the yellow car) - not for looks but just in terms of staying clean. It will probably be OK, but consider that when ordering.

Nice fit - right over the rubber originals (also protects exposed areas to some degree).

I think the VIN number could be a little smaller so it is secondary to the logo, but I can definitely live with it as is. I think it looks good in the car.

Your thoughts?

me likey:thumbsup :banana :thumbsup

Got mine today too. I skipped the number because I didn't want to have to constantly explain what it was. I haven't put them in the car yet but I'm pleased with the looks.

I initially ordered mats with VIN, but ended up skipping it, I also decided, that yes, sometimes it can be tiresome explaining to the masses.
