I need some help first off the solar charger i have been using failed, battery is dead and come to find out the key will neither unlock the door or the trunk, lucky for me i left the wind cracked enough for it to be opened, but i still am faced with trying to now charge the battery. i assume there is a cigarette lighter charger that i can buy to do the trick till i can get it open and take it to the dealer nand let them figure this out, also who makes a battery charger extension that we could add to the car for trickle charging thanks for any insight in advance:ack

You can go to any Harley shop and buy a float charger for $40, or Pep Boys, etc. Battery Tender makes great charger. Kendall has a great set-up kit that covers all the bases and convenience. Don't use a quick charger or you'll boil the battery and get acid on the carriage.

Take the battery out and go to Advanced Auto, Autozone, Pep Boys, whatever local auto parts store and have them check the battery to see if it will even hold a charge. If it won't, buy a new one. If it will, order the battery tender kit through Kendall at Cooltech, hook it up, and it may take a couple days for the battery to fully recharge. You can also have the auto parts store charge it for you while your already there.
