Exporting Canadian GT to the US

Hi guys,

I am new here and have a question.
Can a Canadian '06 GT be exported and sold in the US? I am somewhat familiar with RIV and importing antique cars to Canada but have never looked into this process going into the US. Has anyone done this? I have read that I may need a US compliance letter from Ford, how would I obtain this?
Any input in much appreciated.

I don't have any related experience but I know someone who does! REDEEMED is a super-nice guy who has endured the ordeal of bringing a Canadian FGT back home to the US. Send him a PM. I'm sure he will be happy to give you some pointers, eh.

in December I picked up a GT from Canada, used a exporter from St-Hyacinthe, Qc. his name is Olivier Lambert, phone 450-252-0352.

I thought this was going to be about the new GT...Dang I was head to the boarder with my ninja suit and a roll back
