Gentlemen:

Thanks for all of the input so far. I guess that I am going to have to sharpen up my PhotoShop skills!

Here is a rendering of my new exhaust bracket. It fit perfectly the first time! I have to perform some stress and fatigue analysis on it before anymore head to the machine shop:

Some features include:

1. Machined from solid 6061-T6 stock. All corners are radiused to minimize "stress-risers". The material and/or design is subject to change depending on outcome of fatigue analysis.

2. Designed for proper +/- adjustment with respect to the normal factory positioning.

3. Designed in "flexure joint" to compensate for thermal expansion/contraction. This mimics the stock bracket design.

4. Bracket fits under the cat flanges to allow full support of cats while working on vehicle if exhaust system is removed.
5. Custom lettering or logo can be engraved into several surfaces!
6. Should be compatible with almost any make of aftermarket exhaust system. This bracket is useful for those that wish to roll-your-own exhaust system or if you are not happy with your present bracket design.
7. Super lightweight, weighs only 1 pound!

More to come. Thanks, Jay
