Driver Side Window Sticking

Has anyone had their door glass become misaligned and cause the window to go only half way down? I can put a bit of pressure on the rear of the glass with my hand, and it will not stick. I added a bit of lubricant to the runner, but it made no difference. So I assume it must be an alignment issue. It has gotten cold here in KY, but the other side goes down with no problem. I am scheduled to have the half shaft bolts replaced at the dealer tomorrow, so I will add this to the list. The car has 5,082 miles on it, and was wondering how unique this is. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I've never heard of this problem. It's just possible that you are the first lucky dog to have this happen to him.

Congratulations!:lol

I have yet to hear of this problem either. Please keep us posted.

Thanks, will let you know.

Window issue resolved

The dealer added a very small amount of lubricant to the runners and by the time I drove the car home, the window worked just fine. I believe the real problem was that the car had been sitting for a while and the battery was a bit low. Also, I tried lowering and raising the window when the engine was not running, after the car had been sitting for about three weeks, thus less power for the window (however, the passenger window worked fine). In any event, it is a non problem.

Roger, you need a Battery Tender. Get one at Harley shop for $40 or talk to Kendall.
