So after an 8 month lay-up, I put the GT back on the road- Good Thing.
After 3 miles I get a CEL -PO 102 . Scanner sez Mass Air Flow -low voltage. So, I un plug the sensor at the intake rubber hose and clean the contacts-replace the plug-clear the code-drive for another 1mile - same code .
Ideas ?

WTF over .......

From your description it sounds like you only cleaned the connection contacts. Did you also clean the sensor itself? If you did and still have a code, it's probably the MAF sensor.

After 8 months, I'd take the air box off and look for spiders, rats, raccoons...

Good advise -Thanks

The MAF sensor was shot (Howd dat Happin? ).
Back in action.

No telling what caused the malfunction. It might be worth double checking your battery ground, at the battery and at the frame, lots of problems can start there. Also, if you use K&N filters they have a tendency to get oil on the MAF... just a thought.

Had the exact same problem a few months ago. Sprayed out the sensor with MAF cleaner and still no dice. Got a new one online and voila. Good thing they're cheap.

Running very well now.
The MAF cost $110.00 on line, seemed very reasonable.
