This appears to be the best quality out there (ie, jeweler quality) tooling etc.

I like the the autozone version too at that price of $9

Key difference is hole styling

This after 10 pages of google search.

Cant stand my naked plate hanging on rear.

I got a billet aluminum/chromed GT frame from MGW in Augusta. It has a round GT logo on the top and is very thick and nice. I worry a bit because the badge covers up part of the 'Texas' on my license plate, and I'd heard that was illegal. Haven't been stopped yet though.

MGW manufactures the license plate frames for Ford Racing Parts. This is the same basic design that they make for Corvette and Viper.

The lower part of the plate frame covers the name of the county.

Covering the name of the county is not legal in Georgia.

MGW is located in Augusta, GA.

Hopefully, the cops will be so awed by the car that they will simply remind you that the plate is outside legal limits.

Black frame at BIG LOTS for $2.99.....

Thin, black powder coated license frame....

after looking per a suggestion on another thread at Autozone, I found the edge of the frame too wide and took it back. Then I bought the black powdercoated four hole model from Griot's (over priced, but well made) and it covers up nothing.....couldn't find a correct one for less....
