Picked up the car this morning from the dealer, the cars first first oil change. On their report it said all fluids full and I noticed the fuel tank was empty. About a mile away was a recycling plant. They say their scale is certified to be accurate within + or - 5lbs.

The car came with the light weight rim option.
and has had the following removed or swaped.
1 Bumper
2 Emergency tire kit
3 Borla exhuast swap
4 Rubger mats for custom cut 32oz front and rear
5 Child safety seat bracket
Weight 3325lbs

I then put 16.9 us gal of fuel. So I figure ther was about 10 lbs of fuel left in it.
What does this mean? I don't even have a guess. But I was a bit pleased that Fords posted weight seems fairly accurate.

Interesting. How heavy was the bumper that you removed?

I've got to believe the bumper is for DOT show only. It is all plastic with just a wee bit of metal for hard points. Bumper and most of the hardware is less than 18lbs.

I removed both. Then made new brackets. I was going to cut the OEM until I priced them $1295 ea. I want to be able to put the car back to original if I ever sell it.
