Never been a big Alpha fan but those are absolutely gorgeous!!! Looks like a rich man's Austin Healey.

So true Steve.
Or....a poor man's Ferrari??

Second one is obviously a 3000CM. Duh.

I believe they are recreations...........and they are gorgeous........and I would want to have either in my garage!!

Those are damn good looking cars.

Steve; note the wheels are silver, not black. :lol

Nice "guess" Bonehead!
He saw it with me and 3000CM was on the license plate. Wonder if this is real thing or not?
Great research there Kingman. Got to be the same car.

Awww. I was hoping you wouldn't let on about the plate. As a newbie on the forum, I tried to pull myself off as a automobile 'savant':)

What I find fascinating are the taillights of the original 6C 3000 CM Colli Spyder (1953) -

I think that these are the same lamp assemblies used on one of my favorite (and expensive) Ferraris, the 250 Testa Rossa (1957/1958):

(Possibly a slight change in the lens for the angle.)

I noticed that the headrest fairings and padding were the same for what I believe to be the recreation.....and significantly different from the 'original'. It also helped that the recreation was shown at a Rancho Mirage concours.

The recreation's headrest fairings look to be 'more' proportional to the body, and the paddings are different.
