Hi Guys,
I have been speaking with Ryan at Shift-S3ctor since their airstrip event last Winter about participating the event this year.
Well, the time has come and I'm excited to be a part of the event. I have copy and pasted the event details from Shift-S3ctors website.
I hope to see some of you at the event and represent Ford GT nation together.
FYI, a twin turbo Ford GT has won the American Muscle Cars marquee at the last event. :wink

Airstrip Attack: April 6th and 7th, 2013
by Jason in Shift Sector Track Days.
Shift-S3ctor is proud to announce that our next Airstrip Attack is a 2 day event, April 6th and 7th at the Coalinga Municipal Airport in Central California (3 hours north of LA, 2 hours south of the Bay area). This will be a 1/2 mile, side by side racing event. Registration opens on February 1st at 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time, under “Upcoming Events” on this website. We are limiting this event to 100 cars per day and expect to sell out quickly. Saturday, April 6th, we will have 2 run groups; a higher HP run group and a lower HP run group. At the end of the day on Saturday, we will have a shootout for each run group for trophies as well as a Trophy Tuner Shootout. Sunday, April 7th, we will have open runs all day and at the end of the day, we will have our first Airstrip Marquee Shootout. The 3 marquee categories are: American Muscle Cars, European Cars (including exotics), and JDM Cars. This is a private event and we will be selling very limited number of spectator tickets with priority given to previous Shift-S3ctor event participants. All sponsors will receive 10 spectator passes, all drivers will be given 3 passes, one for the driver and 2 crew passes. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, we offer participating sponsor packages for shops that want to race customer/shop cars, as well as non participating sponsors. You can email [email protected]. Stay tuned for more details and information.
