I'm having a new windshield installed later this week. Picked up a rock on the highway and cracked the windshield. Any tips or advice I need to give the "GlassPro" installers? Hopefully they will have the kid that won the "World Championship" of car windshield installs (in Europe last year) do my job.

Sorry to hear that Gordo. I'm cringing just thinking about it - maybe you can put an end to the urban myth of whether or not the fenders have to come off...... BTW GTJOEY says there are two different window types based on antenna routing (see second posting)

Check these thread out then send Shadowman and Shelbyelite a PM :thumbsup

Gordo - had mine replaced last year.

Accodring to the installer I used : to get the best sealing for the windsheild

: follow the factory methods, i.e. remove fenders, etc.

Not much wiggle room with the fenders on the car.

I'm aware that it's been posted that replacement can be done w/o removing the body work. It ends up being a buyer beware project.
