Hello, My left door is sagging on my Ford GT.

I wanted to ask if there's any aftermarket repair options regarding the2004-2006 Ford GTs door hinge bushings? I've seen there's a lot of "door hinge repair kits" for common cars, but I was wondering if anything like that exists for the Ford GT and if anyone has used them.

The OEM bushings and pins are available for purchase on eBay, and the rest of the hinge parts are unavailable everywhere. Ford doesn't provide these anymore as they are on a very long back order from what they've told me.

mine too with very few miles, bet it is a real hassle to remove the door

I went out and looked at the hinges on my car and from a short look, it seems that all you need is the pins and bushings to fix the problem. What else do you need and why? Is there more to the hinges than appears from the outside?

There's a 2 more parts, but I'm not certain how important they are. A spacer and a retainer.

I know it's possible to buy the entire hinge assembly, but it may also be back ordered. I have not checked on the whole assembly personally.

Strange. I have 92,000 miles on mine, and the driver’s door is not sagging.

Unfortunately my car was very abused before I got it as I am the 3rd owner, it's been track driven, and had an accident. I bought it pretty best up and had it's fully reconditioned professionally visually and mechanically.

The only 2 things left wrong with it after all the work on it is the door hinge and a washer fluid pump that needs replacing.

Are you sure the hinge bushings are worn? If the car had been damaged, I would look very closely at the hinges.

There's clearly sad in the hinge itself, but in the hinge that attached the door to the car there's the bushings. The door itself can be moved slightly up or slightly down when open, but the hinge itself stays in place. We believe it to be the bushings inside the hinge.
