boost/vacuum gauge not working in my 2006 GT. All other gauges and switch gear work perfectly. Any suggestions to correct the problem?

Buy a new one and replace.

Hmmmm? Wouldn't have thought of that.

Get the replacement from Autometer. They make a replacement that matches the original with redesigned innards that won't fail again. If you get it from ford (at an exorbitant price) it will fail with the same probability as any of the other ford gauges.

Much has been written on gauges. Search can be your friend...

First check the boost pressure sender. It's easier to replace than the gauge.

Check your battery and ground. My boost gauge was acting up last year and it turn out to be by 7 years old battery.

If your battery is more than a few years old , I would change it first. It is cheaper and easier. If it is relatively new then put it on a charger and make sure it is fully charged. Then try a start again.

My first indication of a failing battery was gauge failures. Changed battery and added another ground wire. All came back to life.
