I'm assuming most all of us GT owner have this installed.

Looks so much better!

where'd you get that?

Does Ford offer that part?

I cut the plastic cap off mine to install the plug ( mine says "eject"). Is there an alternative for the rest of the guys who haven't installed one yet?

I got a billet one.

What did you do with the annoying factory 12V plastic tethered socket cap/cover?

EDIT: Oh, I see above that Texas GT just cut it off. Thx.

12V Plug

I also have EJECT button (in red to match starter button) in mine and does it catch attention! Riders keep their hands in their laps. Purchased at mgwltd.com for $26.00. A real attention getter.:thumbsup

Guys, They also carry SUPERB oil and coolant reservoir caps to replace the Ford parts bin cheap black plastic caps. They are machined from billet aluminum but with FoMoCo innerds so they fit perfectly, including the "ratcheting" feature. These are really nice engine compartment dress-up items that complement Ford's under-clamshell architecture without being too gaudy. Check out their website for these and other billet aluminum accessories for the FGT.

Thanks Bill
Mine is on the way.

Did everyone simply cut off the OEM black plastic plug? Has anyone disassembled the dash to remove it without cutting? BTW, I ordered one from MGW (satin silver "GT").

I left the back plug dangling, but filled the slot with the billet version.
