FORD GTX40 Anyone heard of it?

I am looking to buy a FGT. The details I posted in my post here:

Marking on the car are FORD GTX40 on he side and rear. I was told Mclaren did a FGT mod that was called the X40 but can't find anything on it. Figured if it was someone here would know. Any help is much appreciated.

Roush did some all black cars across the pond and called the RE 600. I've never heard of McLaren doing anything officially. I think this is just someone being creative with stickers....

Looks like a Roush 600 RE but the Roush mods. only get just over 600 hp, check for Roush serial number plate in engine bay and/or on drivers door rocker plate.

I am venturing a guess that this is not a Roush car either. Roush cars were for the UK only...and this pic doesn't appear to be from that neck-o-the-woods.
