I received an email from Ford at 5 AM today thanking me for my patience and saying I am now "part of the special group that has the opportunity to purchase the all-new Ford GT"!!!

Mama, and my wife, have told me all my life to be patient, which until retirement has not been one of my characteristics. It paid off. I am beyond delighted! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! James 1:17.

I expect that there are going to be a number of people joining me in celebrating this incredible opportunity.

Is this something new? A second phase of contacts from Ford to applicants that were differed or wait listed ? Anyways great news either way.
 
I was on the wait list and got my acceptance also this morning, congrats to those who got the letter the second time around!

Just got my letter from Ford this morning also. Was an the wait list, NOW I'M IN!!! What a great Friday!

Congrats to everyone who has been upgraded from the Wait List. That is outstanding news.

Sometimes I try to imagine the boardroom discussions that occur before these events materialize. I bet they are very interesting.
