New headlights for 2005/6MY Ford GT

Since Ford has already sold you the car it doesn't have to be concerned with the long term value of the car. What increasing parts availability will do is increase the value of the COMPANY. Public image, company reputation, visible commitment to their products and their customers. Remember...

    New Owner

I hope that helps. https://gt101.co.uk/ford-gt/ There is also a nifty little device that helps prevent voltage surges to the gauges. I got one several years ago. I don't know if he is still producing them. I have 41kmiles, no gauge problems. I do also wait until the gauges...

    New Owner

Mine had a slight rattle in bumps. GT 101 sent me replacements in neoprene. lasts longer than OEM rubber, cost very reasonable, rattles all gone.

    Jimmy Buffett thread?

I got lucky, saw him in Phoenix last spring. Good show and really enjoyed his book "A Salty Piece of Land". Just outrageous fun.

Stillen and Spec no longer making a clutch for the GT. OEM takes some patience to track down.

    Clamshell bumpers

I think I found it. Under $30 for the pair. unscrew the plug in doohickey and use the nuts from the old ones. I believe the spring is sturdier than the original. https://www.cjponyparts.com/trunk-spring-with-rubber-bumper-pair-mustang-1999-2004/p/HW4086/

Need a new clutch and flywheel

Recently replaced the clutch/flywheel in my 06. Order the part from Ford then in a month, reorder, as Ford will cancel if not delivered... without asking if you still want it. Contact Ford customer service. I don't believe Stillen or Spec are still making a clutch for the GT. I Tried them. GT...

    Replacement tire problems

I have gone through 2 sets of rears and 1 of fronts with the Bridgestones (at 40,000miles). They worked very well. Compared to the Eagles, they are less expensive, quieter, stickier, seem to last longer, and are probably more readily available. Not really any downside. On an aside note, what...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

If you watch the old movie "Le Mans" with Steve McQueen there is a shot of the infield, and it appears there is a kiddy ride with some of the GT 40s.
