Hi all, I just wanted to say thank you for such a fantastic few days with you in Scottsdale; and of course to Dave, Chip and everyone else who pulled this off! As many of you know, it was a bit of a headache to get my car over there with other commitments, but everything worked out perfectly...

I'm hoping that I will still be able to work this one out; I have a hotel room booked, but I'm not paid/signed on to the official list. I've got transport guys on the case to figure out how to get my car there in time - let's see what happens.

Which days will involve driving; 30th, 31st and 1st?

Are you capping a maximum or going with the flow? Do you know at what point you'll be able to share an 'itinerary' of sorts? Is it arriving night of 29th, leaving morning of 1st? Thank you

It's sitting on exactly 15,000 miles at the moment. Coincidentally, I drove at Apex earlier this year in my Dark Horse when I was out in Arizona. The GT has driven many great tracks like Silverstone, Hockenheim, Nurburgring, COTA, so I'm always up for it.

I did a tour of 14,000 miles through 32 States in my GT Black Series last year, but there's a small luggage problem trying to do the same in the Ford GT!

I'm late to the party, but given I've shipped my GT all the way to the US for events this year, it would be rude not to turn up. The only problem, I'm committed to an event with it in Virginia and can't leave until Sunday 27th, about 2,300 miles away. That's going to be a marathon journey even...

I'm certainly not the youngest but I would have been 28 when I got the allocation; 31 at delivery though!

If any future UK customers want to come have a poke around mine in London, I imagine there's a way we can make that happen if schedules allow.

I think that's to do with whether the car can be unlocked from the internal handles as opposed to the motion sensor

For air freight the key has to travel on the windshield anyway so I guess this is all a moot point, it's loaded up to fly and is unlocked with a window open (again a legal requirement)

It's going into the hold in about 6 hours so I've not got long to figure a way but will reach out to my contacts here in Europe and see what I can find out.

That sounds like quite a funky workaround! I'm assuming I've explained what I mean properly but in most cars there is a physical button either in the door shut or on the roof liner light panel for example. In my other Fords it asks you on the display when you shut off the engine every time so...
