Ok I'll add one too.... Really they are a fairly simple R&R.

Yes. You tie those into the upper rad hoses to create a direct return path. Modulars are notorious for running hot on the back cylnders specifically #8.

    news of whipple 4.5l?

Black....those spikes can be tuned out. We run several 800+rwhp cars on a returnless system, very little spike and certainly no pressure drop on the up slope. Lol I have seen poorly tuned cars easily spike over 100psi though....actually had a gt500 lift the fuel rails off the manifold from poor...

    news of whipple 4.5l?

Do you have the hobs switch hooked up? If so I recommend ditching it and wiring the bap on full time. Much easier to tune and elminates the transitional pressure spikes that can cause drivability symptoms and blow FRP sensor diaphrams. The Kenne Bell and JMS units are basically the same and both...

    A Texas Mile meltdown....

Yeah it was weird....car sounded wrong big time. we watched the pass from the infield and the car came to rest about 500ft past us. It was nice that they put it on display for the rest of the weekend though lol. This was such a strange Texas mile....nothing was fast (other than Mark)....I...

Getting Ready for the Texas Mile

Is this one of John's big stroke motors? Can't wait to see this thing run this weekend....

    Whipple /turbo/ pulley and headers

From experience, we have pushed a stock gt fuel system to 1100rwhp with a 20v bap and id1000 injectors on gasoline. E85 requires about 40% more fuel at wot....so likely about 700-750rwhp would be the limit. An easy solution is a simple inline pump triggered off a window switch or hobs for wot...

    Whipple /turbo/ pulley and headers

The GT pumps seem to hold up just fine on E85 (plenty of guys have used the OE GT pumps in Mustangs on E85), however there are options out there for those that want to be sure. http://www.foreinnovations.com/product_p/w-f10000302.htm

WTB - Ford SVT Lightning F150 truck

Try to find an 03/04 truck....there were a lot of minor improvements made to those years. The prior year 2v heads only had 4 threads for the spark plugs and they were prone to blowing the plugs out of the heads and damaging the threads, 03/04 got 8 thread heads, as well some updates to the 4R100...

    Whipple /turbo/ pulley and headers

It's compatible with anything lol....it is a complete stand alone boost management system. Can be set up with or without CO2 for wastegate management, has boost vs time tables, shift tables, button actuated boost, all kinds of neat stuff. It's pretty much the industry standard as far as quality...

    Whipple /turbo/ pulley and headers

SCT can't do boost by gear. The easiest way would be with a high end boost controller like an AMS1000....or a complete standalone such as a motec or proefi which would also give you a sweet tc setup.

    Whipple /turbo/ pulley and headers

Nice intake system :) Boost by gear is great in a turbo or centrifugal car...but doesn't work in a PD blower setup. A good traction control system is the cat's meow.

    an odd situation at Starbucks

Yeah, we actually found it quite humorous after the fact as well. From then on out, whenever we went to a show, we would make a habit of putting random food items on the cars (as in our own cars) and snapping a few photos. Food on Blowers thread...
