2005-06 GT Take-off Parts For Purchase

AS OF TODAY 5/12/2024, I FURTHER MARKED-DOWN THE PRICES ON EVERY REMAINING ITEM. These were all removed from my 2006 Ford GT at around 2,000 miles. Discounts on purchase of multiple items. I need to sell these parts, so make me a reasonable offer and I'll definitely consider it. Thanks, Van

    A car guys worst nightmare...

^^^^Holy Burning Bearing, Batman! How many hours did it take for that to cool down enough to try and get the wheel off?

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Really, really, nice improvement over the OEM system (Two D-cell flashlights.) Fitment looks clean and OEM-enough that no one would likely ever notice any change, until night time. The lux meter and beam pattern tell the story. If mine ever needs it, I'll definitely be in contact.

2005-06 GT Take-off Parts For Purchase

Hi everyone. I am marking the set of four OEM take-off FGT wheels and original Goodyear Supercar F1 tires SOLD! That BaT auction ended today, and the winner is an owner in the Czech Republic. Thanks, Jan, for your purchase. The Ricardo Transaxle and OEM Clutch have also been sold to Forum...

New headlights for 2005/6MY Ford GT

Are there any bulbs available where you can increase the output...lumens. Or will that possibly overtax the rest of the HID system? In my car, they seem barely adequate for speedy night driving.

Gauges are going out - looking for recomendations

What is the inherent problem with the OEM gauges? I've owned all sorts of cars and never had an analog gauge fail. Or, are 2005-06 FGT gauges actually electronic and driven by a black box with a skull and dollar signs on the side?

    Driving tours Swiss/Italian Alps

I've driven in Europe plenty of times, starting in the mid-80s on the German Autobahns especially, and never had an intentional driver license, but I agree that these days it's a good idea to carry one..simply for (as fjpikul wrote) to have it be the one the polizei decided to keep, instead of...

    Don't be this guy

I'd like to reiterate my earlier question: Is it feasible to pull the fuse on the ABS system before going on a track? I've done that on older cars and the brake system operated like a non-ABS system. Definitely helps when you're sliding backwards (as others have mentioned) and want to have...

    Don't be this guy

Is it feasible to pull the fuse on the ABS system before going on a track? I've done that on older cars and the brake system operated like a non-ABS system. Nothing weird. But, I don't know what kind of hysterics pulling the fuse would throw a GT into. Thoughts? Experiences?

2005-06 GT Take-off Parts For Purchase

Here's pix of the original 3.3 Ring & Pinion from my 2006 GT. The parts look to be in great shape. Removed from my street-driven GT at about 2,000 miles. Any little strands or threads visible on the parts are leftover from my not-lint-free rag. On 5/12/2024: PRICE DROPPED FURTHER TO $800...
