    USA vs CANADIAN

Hi Superfly, When I finally did find one that would go from my dealership straight through to California on the same truck, I was very happy. Airgroup has been very helpful and I would use them again without hesitation.:wink Cheers. Bob

    USA vs CANADIAN

I'm going by the speedo numbers predominately in MPH and the odometer being in miles. There was no option for the odometer to be in kilometers. We service 13 GT's here and have sold 14 as a dealer group and I never noticed any of the cars odometers in kilometers. How are things in the east? We...

    USA vs CANADIAN

Black Ice, We have to produce an OASIS report to the buyer for the US authorities to show that there are no recalls outstanding and on that report is the build date of the car. We also provide an EPA letter that comes from Ford of Canada that states the car is the same as sold in the US and...

The car has to have been built before September 1st, 2006. There was a new occupant protection standard that came into effect at that date and the GT couldn't comply. Any GT built before that date is able to gain legal entry into the US. Cheers. Bob

    USA vs CANADIAN

It was manufactured in February of 2006, one of 210 sold to Canadian Ford dealers, according to Ford of Canada numbers. The instrument cluster is the same...

Where any GTs made in Canada?

Speaking as a Ford dealer, there weren't any made in Canada, but you all know that. There were officially 210 built for Canada in 2006 only. Word is that approximately 28% or 59 cars have either been written off as salvage or wrecked. Gawd, I sound like Cliff Clavin. Cheers. Bob

Does anybody know of a "scrapped" chassis

We hear there have been quite a few Canadian GT's written off or whacked hard. There was one written off here in BC very recently. Contact our state insurance provider, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, and they may be able to steer you to where these remnants are. Bob

    Gulf Licensed Jacket from Europe

That is different. I bought a Le Mans Gulf jacket in blue to match my older Porsche and my jacket is the same as what Steve McQueen wore in the film, or at least made to look like what he wore. Cheers.
