Photos of the day we bought our Ford GT's.

Very easy to drive off while plugged in. I did it once, thought I would not do it again, but did, I now tie a cloth around the mirror on the drivers door routinely when I plug in. Works for me.

    Seasonal Greetings

Wishing the very best seasonal greetings to all, and hoping for a peaceful and healthy 2024. Very much looking forward to getting out in our cars again, particularly when the northern European climate is a little more attractive. How lucky we are.

Looking for a High Mileage GT!

20k does not sound high to me.........

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

Sounds like it's good to go now for another 60k miles, enjoy. The interesting thing is it's really just cosmetic or service type items. I don't hear anything about mechanicals. 15 years and 60k hard miles in a Ferrari.... different story. Been there done that.

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

Out of interest, what needed doing by way of refurbishment after 60k miles ? I am now getting towards 30k miles and (touch wood) the car wants nothing. I did have stone chips on the front sorted and the billet engine vents fitted, but that's about it.

    Which GT to buy?

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Could you give me the wheel sizes please and possibly include the tyre sizes. Have you lowered your car ? It looks lovely. I love my factory BBS lightweights ( including the 19inch look), but the availability and cost of the rear tyres is making me think of changing. I have no plans to lower...

Dry bag size to fit on chassis inside rear clam

As per the title...I am touring France in June with my wife, enroute to Classic LeMans and every bit of luggage capacity will be useful. I have read that some people put a dry bag in the area where a transmission cooler could be sited (mine does not have one) inside the rear clam. It's going to...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Hopefully you have now had a chance to drive the car for a while with the new suspension setup. Could you please give a bit of feedback on how the KW HLS feel on the road compared to the stock dampers, particularly regarding the ride on roads with a poor surface.

    Prevent flat spots in tires?

Over inflate by about 50%......but put a note on the steering wheel to remind you !

Congratulations. I recently jumped in as you say, and have found that the car has exceeded all my expectations by quite a margin..... I love it !
