Thanks for the info. I researched heli-coils yesterday and am impressed with the info. available. I have only used them for spark plug thread repair. It snowed here today and Ford is telling me the GT won't be ready untill Nov. Any suggestions on who I can call at Ford to Rip them a new #@%$#...

Hi Everyone I recently had the half shaft bolts break in my GT(two months ago). While being repaired the shop found that the bolt holes mounting tne trans to the frame were stripped, they have been in contact with ford(for two months) to try and rectify the problem. Their solution is heli-coils...

Thaks for the info. apparently the threads in one hole are screwed so the tech is waiting for a tap to clean them out, then i'll put accufab bolts in myself!

Hello Everyone; This is my first post to this forum and unfortunately it's not what i'd call good news. I snapped the axle bolts off of one side of my GT and am having ford put the fomoco kit in.Has anyone heard of a failure with the ford replacement bolts?
