Thanks for keeping us updated. Watched all three races last weekend.

P1 Ford GT GT 3 on Poleposition

And hopefully the first to cross under the Checkered Flag.

Go Blu!

Question... the pole lap time is 8:36.... not that quick for an all out race car... Is the Ring in the same config as when manufacturers take their time?

This is the complete race track which includes the F1 Track.

Ford GT 7:42 w/o GP Track
Mercedes CLK-GTR FIA GT 1:33 GP Track

adding together that is 8 minutes and 75 seconds or 39 seconds longer then the pole position setters time.

Thanks for the reminder bud!

Do you guys know what happened in the second hour? The Ford GT was leading nicely chased by the Manthey 997 RSR when I left. When I got back at hour 3:30 the FGT was 12th and 8 minutes behind the leaders. It is now 9th and catching up quickly...

It's clear that the car is fast.... I can't see any damage on the car.... so I am a little puzzled. Any info is appreciated!

The leading GT spun out on it's own accord while diving into a turn. I can only ascertain it as driver error. I don't think the Porsche hit it.

It seems to me they r refueling more frequently than the porkers. Higher fuel consumption? Smaller tank?

I'm pretty sure they have a 108 liter fuel tank.

After 7 hours, the Ford GT is running 7th, about a lap down.

Ford GT is in 6th in the current standings pretty cool looking night pit footage going on right now.

At the 12 hour mark (½ way), the Ford GT was running in 5th place, and running consistant laps at about 9 min, 19-22 sec. It is almost 2 laps behind the leading Audi R8 LMS, which is turning laps at just about 9 min flat.

This puts the car about 18 minutes behind the leader.

Live Ranking (1 -15)

Fell back into 6th :(.

I know that some of the sponsors are different but it isn't finished either.

Dropped out after 13th hour - Damn!

Any word on the DNF?

24 h Nürburgring: DNF because of broken oil pump shaft resulting in engine breakage.

Matech Racing Photos.....: the suggested"jet stream" "mist" or "moisture" on the pic #2 is actually just cooling liquid leaking from the front radiator. The leak resulted from the car hitting the lost front engine bonnet of the Audi #26 which lied around on the straight finish line for more than 3 laps without any reaction from the race control. It is only after several cars dropped out (including Matech`s both Ford GT`s) that the race control finally decided to call the saftey car out

Thanks for the update.
