Still in the shop

The shop still has my FGT, took in last week.

Replaced shift cable, did not fix the grind into second, new transaxle arrived yesterday. No arguement from Ford (warranty)

The figity oil pressure gage was tested, dealer called Ford and they said to put a new pump on it.

The no heat was the climate control selector switch, new one in and works.

They have a few more nit pick items and I should have it back next week. I was kind of surprised at all the things wrong since it has only 9K miles but it is an early 05, #0399. I guess the early ones had a number of problems. The half shaft retaining bolts and washers were already replaced.

But it is what it is.

I have really missed not driving it. The dealership has been great and so has Ford, I read some posters "horror stories".

Glad to hear that your being taken care of.

By and large there are very few horror stories. The dealer network has been great.

Can you tell if the rattle is coming from the engine or transmission?

The rattle was a broken weld inside the muffler. New muffler. Under warranty. Sounds good now. :biggrin
