Rally V - Virginia International Raceway ?

The Hummer did almost as good as the Tesla :cheers

Dave,
Is the Maxton Mile within a days drive of where we will be ?? :biggrin

Looks like about a four-hour drive to me.

Hummmm ...:secret:

So, is anyone considering driving from So. Cal. to VIR? I am and I would love to have some company.

Hi Dave,
Monica and I will be trailering and would love to keep you company if you don't get in with a group moving a bit faster...:biggrin

Hi Terry,

My mother always told me not to run around with fast crowds. If I go with you guys maybe I can avoid increasing the traffic ticket collection that I started in Scottsdale.

Seriously, it would be fun to travel with you and Monica. Looks like about 5,000 miles, plus side trips. Hope the snow has melted by then.

Thanks for the heads up, Shadow.

I'm currently trying to determine if I'm going to make this year's rally. If I do, I would trailer also....Dave you are the only one with enough experience to drive the GT the whole round trip. :biggrin
But if I do..can we stop at the same lunch spot in Blythe? We rocked that spot!:banana

Aloha Dave,

Ralphie & I are both considering the trek by GT to Rally V.

nothing cast in granite yet. A more northern/central route across the country.
as we need to be in fjpikul's 'hood, for the rally to the rally festivities.

You Betcha

At this point in time, the Spirit GT is scheduled to drive :thumbsup to Rally V from Texas and back [it doesn’t care much for trailers]. Side trips and alternate routes are always a strong possibility. :biggrin

I'm interested in driving from SoCal to Va.:thumbsup

I'm glad you have already decided to go. Let's hope we can get a good-sized caravan going.

I hope you make the trip. They are probably still talking about us in Blythe. It's a good thing we left before the police arrived.

Is Chris considering the trip? I hope so. You two will keep us all laughing.

Cool! I'll look forward to seeing you and your lovely wife again somewhere in Texas.

What rally to the rally? Maybe we can all join forces somewhere along the way.

I can't find "last Blu" in the members directory. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Terrific, Allen! I'll add you to the list of fellow trekkies.

If you're registered you can bring whatever you want. Some attendees have previously chosen to bring Teslas, C5R's, Miatas and rental Hummer H2's at our previous track excursions. :lol

Dr. Frank ran a rental Ford Flex van at our event at Spring Mountain this weekend!

Hilo, some of us have discussed meeting in St. Louis at my house for a Rally to the Rally. My house is 3 miles from I-64, the main road to VA. Need to coordinate with DBTGT who knows the way well. Many nice motels near my house and my neighbors provide indoor parking. This is easlly do-able.

Note: RED cars have preference.

Thanks, FJ. That sounds like a great idea. (Especially the red car part.)

Ecoboost?

No, no ecoboost, but it did have AWD. Less roll in the turns than I expected.

Damn I can't go. It's too close!
