Nope it's just a list of all the sizes that are supposed to be coming out. I can try to post up a picture of the whole list. There IS a 275/35/20 listed also

Here are some pilot super sport sizes according to a recent Porsche magazine. Do you think some of these would work for a GT running 19s and 20s?

245/40/18
265/40/18

235/35/19
245/35/19
255/35/19
265/30/19
275/35/19
275/30/19
305/30/19

315/35/20
345/30/20

I'm running the 255/35/19's front and 335/30/20's rear. Is the 345/30/20 a new size?

Stock GT rear is 28.92 " OD
315/35/20 = 28.68 " OD ( very close to stock OD )
345/30/20 = 28.14 " OD

Was anyone with michelin contacts have any luck attempting to get these tires made in our OEM sizes? I assume not, as our relative consumption is probably not worth it???

Figured I would ask again, if anyone with contacts any where, have been able to see if Michelin is going to make an OEM size for us.

That's what the people from Michelin have been telling me up to this point.

In the large ocean of various consumer sizes, we're just a drop in the bucket.

There still running way behind on back orders anyway, so they've already had to postpone releases of new product lines as it is.

Just put a rear set on my Benz. Outstanding traction. Before they would spin at 30-40 mph and below. Now they hook.

Looks like 275/30-19 and 345/30-20 may work. Both are about 3/4" short so the front to rear height ratio would be close enough to OEM and not upset the balance of the car and for those w/ adjustable shocks or shock perches, rake won't be a problem that they can't dial out with a couple of turns of the shock perches. Okay who wants to be the guinea pig???

Except OEM wheels are 18, and 19, so that combo, does not work for me.

I've looking for Ultra High Performance Tires for OEM wheels for 5 years and found only the Bridgestone RE050A to be the only tires that would fit other than the Goodyear runcraps, so going aftermarket wheels may be the only option at this point, besides I'm sure we can sell our OEM wheels at pretty attractive prices or we can just mount Hoosiers on OEM for track days.

I have been running Hoosiers fulltime for a couple years. I have a set of wheels with GY's on them to get state inspections (actually 2 sets), but would like to have an option that bridges the gap a bit more, such that I am not scrambling to get the GYs OFF (sticker hoosiers are mounted and ready to go back on). I just had hopes as it is a new tire, that is well regarded, they might address our size. I just like the look of the OEM wheels, after market wheels just dont blow wind up my skirt....

You wear a skirt when you drive your GT, I'm sure the GT still gets more looks!!!!

Just put the super sports on my 997, there is a noticeable difference from the PS2's (which were my favorites). Not having the capability to get very technical on tire properties, these tires have noticeably improved and extended the performance capabilities of the car.

I like these so much, I'm starting to consider aftermarket wheel options to get these on the GT (although I have no experience with the more radical sport cups or R6's). Something I thought I would never do. I'd much rather keep the stock wheels.

As someone else noted, it's the Pilot Sport Cup tires that we should be seeking. These new Michelin's, replacement for the PS2's, are not quite up to the performance specs of the Cup tires. I run them on my Porsche 997S and they (the Cup tires) are significantly better than the PS2's. In another league in fact. So I doubt the new ones could be as good as the Cup tires. If only because the Cup tires don't work in cold temps, don't work well in the rain, and have a much worse wear rate.
I'd be willing to get new wheels if I could fit a set of Michelin Cup tires to the GT and have looked for a matched set for years to no avail. Anybody running them?

I am putting the Michelin Super Sport tires on my new rally car for this years rally. They will be here tomorrow. They are going on a set of HRE Monoblock wheels. The tires sizes I went with are 285/25/20 in front and 345/30/20 in rear. These tires are extremely close to the size of the PS2s that I have been running on all my rally cars for the last 3 years. I am excited to get them. They have a better treadwear rating than the PS2s did, they are supposed to grip much better AND they are cheaper than the PS2s. Will have them in Utah at the rally to try them out! :)
