With radio delete, was there a "blank plate" or something?? never saw that

Re: cast wheels, @ 7-14%, in 30 yrs, these are going to be like the Miura Campagnola wheel sets that cost as much as a house now. Stock a set away to pay for grand kids college.

The "Radio Delete" was technically not an orderable option. I do not believe that there was a delete "block-off plate" used like in older Mustangs. ALL of the cars built for Europe were spec'd with a Radio Delete package, under the assumption that they would get a DIN size radio with the appropriate freqency bands in their intended market. With only 101 units planned, it wasn't enough to warrant designing and tooling the delete plate (or to develop and test another radio with European frequencies).

Anyone have photo's of the interior of the "101" cars w/o radio?

Shane, the first production stripe-delete black cars are (by VIN number) 05's numbers:

0018
0032
0068
0102 (yours)

Sweet! Thanks Dick. Interesting "factoid" to know that mine was the 4th Black Stripe delete.
