Ford GT and Ferrari 458 playmates

I've joined the GT+458 Speciale club, and :) The Speciale is more responsive than the GT in all departments and so quick through the gears and is such a buzz to drive, it is so well balanced and the new Ceramics from the La Ferrari are fantastic. Looks wise I love them both for what...

    Big whipple

Id be interested to hear your thoughts on my example, I found that while out on circuit here in the UK in July my car was getting too hot after 5/6 laps due to the heat from the supercharger and would flash a warning at me, so a cool down lap later and its good to go for another 4/5 laps. I...

    transmission noise

Noticed this noise the other day for the first time, It was a bit concerning so i'm glad to see its normal. One other thing though, I am now getting comfortable with the car to the point where 725bhp feels normal, when I drove my 430bhp TVR the other day I thought it had a misfire and was...

    rear lamps (tail lights)

Is it easy to replace the LED's on the toggle switches? How is it done? 2 of mine have failed and one is dull, I'd probably replace them all at the same time.

    Prices stabilizing?

to clarify, I just thought it was interesting the power forums and clubs have when it comes to values. Many people here seem to be bothered about values and mileage but I bought my one to use it, have done over 1000 miles in this first week of ownership! :)

    Prices stabilizing?

Surely there are enough connections through this forum to get an agreement between owners not to sell for less than $$$,$$$/£££,£££, owners benefit, dealers benefit on their commission, everyone wins. The BMW CSL owners club in UK done the same and bumped the car prices up by 25% if I remember...

    Another one detroyed

Ah, I was close but wrong RE! Haha, thanks for correcting me Dave, must say it looks great and certainly not like it's done 50,000 miles, great job! :) So it seems people in Europe like to crash RE cars (roushe edition???) , what are the rough estimates for GT's left from the original 4030 or so?

    Another one detroyed

I've bought the steering wheel from this car as it's only done a few hundred miles, my car has done 50k and I think a low use factory steering wheel will look far better than a re-trim.

    Midnight Blue

To me either of the blue/white combos is very nice but as soon as I saw the Black with 'ghost' or Matt stripes I called Dave to arrange a viewing, when a car has such a visual impact as this it's just too hard to ignore, collect on Friday! :) :) :)

Reporting your Ford GT to SAAC registrar

I sent my VIN and details, it was interesting to get some info about which dealer it went to first and when, so when people ask, I have a story to tell about the cars life prior to arriving in the UK.

    Complete Rally Exhaust Compilation

Based on that video, the Accufab probably has the nicest sound IMO. lucky that the car I've bought has one, so excited to pick it up! This forum is great by the way, lots of info and knowledge here which will make ownership a much more pleasant experience. G

    Wild Pricing

Yeah the car is stunning, and whippled... :D I'm getting a few bits of trim replaced and re-trimmed to tidy it up first so will get it in a week or two. Can't wait!

    Wild Pricing

I just paid ~$194,000 for a black 2006 GT in the UK, with 50k on the clock. I decided to get one while I could, also get one with some miles on it, so I could use it plenty and not worry about the value. The cheapest car in the UK at the moment seems to be $168,000 with 70k on the clock but...

    Noble M400

I have a noble M400, owned for 6 years, quite reliable machine that handles great, I converted it to a race car last winter and this year I'm racing (and winning) in the Scottish sports car championship, and the GT cup, in the UK. Beating 911 GT3 cup cars, 458's and all sorts, with 500bhp and...

For Sale: 2006 Ford GT in the UK

Hello! Happy new owner here, it was great to see the Ford GT's at GT101 and I'm looking forward to collecting my new car, she's a beast. The car will be moving North to Aberdeen, Scotland. I will be making plans to drive it to Le'Mans next summer and possibly the Italian lakes later this year...
